Born Shane Michael Manieri on September 18th, 1970 in New Orleans, Shane has been attending to manes as his main career for 18 years. With an attention to detail and utmost service, Virgo Sun at 25 degrees, Shane’s natural Virgo abilities are intensified paired with the 25’s meaning of Discrimination and Analysis. He was laying down a structure and foundation within his current 9-year cycle at that time that started in 1990, where he got his first job at a salon in New Orleans and began exploring his attraction for hairstyling. In 1993, coupled with Saturn transiting in Aquarius in his 10th House of Career, the urge for self-reliance through his originality was stirred. His first job in NYC was with Peter Coppola salon, assisting one of America’s top hair colorist, Sharon Durram, who worked on a list of celebrities, such as: Meg Ryan, Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman, Elle Mcpherson, Annie Leibovitz and many more. Here, Manieri acquired the ability to reinvent himself through the art of hair color.

The years to follow furthered upon Shane’s learning and self-discovery 1st Period Cycle in life, and during a 5 Personal Year of Movement from 1994-5, he landed a position at Aveda. This all-natural product company certainly was a perfect move as purity is of great appeal to an earthen Virgo native. Not only did he continue to excel in hair, but also learned the artistry of developmental make-up, hair-color, and perfumery. This deepened his natural talents of understanding the balance of hues, color, and scent that are essential to his field of work.

By the fall of 1999, in a 1 Personal Year, Shane crossed over into his 2nd Period Cycle of life, where one’s true creative abilities and gifts start to blossom and completely emerge. At this time, it was evident that a new journey was beginning in his life. By the fall of 2000, when Saturn was about to cross his ascendant he was also finishing up his first Saturn Return in Taurus, Shane underwent deep transformations in his life, where ultimately the tools he had acquired up until the fall of 1999, magically started to serve his creativity like he’d never seen before.

Entering into an expansive 3 Personal Year in the fall of 2001, Shane owned his own business as a freelance hairstylist at his new home, Anagen Salon, where he, now watching his true talents begin to explode, remained until the Spring of 2007. During this time, he learned about the mysteries of numbers and their affects upon the energies within our names, and chooses his full birth name to be legally known. His full birth name vibration of the 24’s Love- Money- Creativity surely started to kick, as the years to follow increased his attractions immensely, while its’ singular 6 energy brought balance to his 18/9 Karmic Path.

In yet another 5 Personal Month of Movement, while wrapping up an 8 Personal Year of Harvest and Recognition, June 2007 marked Shane’s smart move to the new and highly-acclaimed Chris Chase Salon in West Chelsea.

Now, in a most rewarding and fame-oriented 9 Personal Year, the Universe is granting Shane burgeon opportunities as the press turn themselves towards his work. Aside from his recent sighting in the New York Times, today also marks another credit in his favor as Beauty News NYC, online takes their hat off to Shane’s renowned color talents. Be on the look out for Shane in the upcoming Family Circle magazine, as a feature within their February 2008 issue. A book release, tentatively titled, “Confessions of a Hairstylist” is also in the works adding to his fame and celebrity throughout this 9 personal year.

Currently, Saturn is also blessing Shane with more changes in that 5th House of Creativity where his natal Virgo Sun sits, as this planet of self-reliance moved into Virgo this past September. The next two years to follow will be intense in this area for Shane, as Saturn is showering changes upon his identity while he wraps up this 9-year cycle, and will enter into a brand new one by the fall of 2008. These 2 years will bring more events and circumstances that will forever alter his creative nature, most surely will enhance his already innate “mane attractions.”

Numerically, the utilization of the name Shane is equally bringing him plenty of attention from masses, press and those center stage moments with the 19’s The Prince of Heaven.
